The Geological Survey of NSW (GSNSW) was founded in 1875 and is the state’s oldest continually operating government agency. It collects, manages and delivers geoscientific data to support responsible development of NSW resources, including attracting resource industry investment into regional areas, as well as providing advice for land use planning, and natural resource and environmental management.
