This event aims to educate students about renewable energy & capacity build STEM skills in a fun way. Students design, engineer & build solar vehicles in the classroom & then race their cars & boats in a series of exciting races at the EV Challenge! This event is open to all Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and Hunter Valler primary and secondary schools.

How it works.
- Visit www.careerlinks.nsw.edu.au/ev-challenge/ and click Register
- Register your team/s by selecting primary or secondary & category (cars, boats & CO2 dragsters).
- One kit will be provided for each team that you enter or BYO CO2 dragster.
- We will send your kit/s to you with more information about how to build it/curriculum links.
- Build your kit/s in the classroom & test in the playground to get ready for race day!
- Bring your EV on race day, dress to support your team & prepare to have lots of fun!
