Featuring presenters Professor Deborah Loxton, Dr Nicole Nathan and Emmalee Ford, you’ll learn more about:

- The emergence of digital tools such as health tracking apps;
- Healthy ageing and the influences that impact on the long-term health of women; and
- Some of the amazing research studies currently being conducted here at HMRI for the health and wellness of women Australia wide.

Professor Deborah Loxton is Co-Director of the University of Newcastle’s Centre for Women’s Health Research and is Deputy Director of The Australian Longitudinal Study on Women’s Health – Australia’s largest and longest running survey on women’s health which now spans four generations.
Dr Nicole Nathan is an implementation scientist and Health Promotion Manager with Hunter New England Health. Originally trained as a physical education teacher, Nicole is currently working on a research study that looks at the impact of school uniforms on the physical education participation of girls.
Emmalee Ford completed her PhD in 2020 and is passionate about scientific literacy and education about reproductive health. Originally trained as a traditional molecular biologist, Emmalee’s research now focuses on increasing public knowledge about fertility and reproductive health, particularly with the emergence of fertility and health tracking apps.
