Facilitating the cradle-to-career life cycle

FREE educator professional development, student workshops & competitions in statistics, sustainability, systems thinking & STEM

The program is aimed at:

  • Embedding ‘future of work’ capabilities and awareness in the future workforce and Primary and Secondary School educators
  • Addressing Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and National Curriculum outcomes

FREE Online Activities include:

  • National Schools Poster Competition (online submissions due 10 November): Students work in teams to bring statistics to life, conducting small-scale versions of real-world investigations on any area of interest.
  • Mini-Solar Vehicle Challenge (online submissions due 5 November): Students work individually or in a team to develop the fastest mini solar vehicle!
The program is available to ALL primary and secondary school educators and students in Australia thanks to a Commonwealth Government Department of Education “Emerging Priorities Program” grant and the Hunter Innovation and Science Hub (HISH).
