Oliver is a Renewable Energy Engineering student at the University of Newcastle and the recipient of the 2023 Oceanex Energy Scholarship.
How did Dr Liam, the senior Phelan, arrive at Senior Lecturer in Multidisciplinary Science, School of Environmental and Life Sciences, University of Newcastle?
Liam’sresearch focusses on climate change, finance and complexity. His background is in activism for social and ecological justice, and human rights. In 2005 Liam was awarded the international Free Spirit Award to honour individuals working for the cause of Tibetan people. This is a truly remarkable story!!!
